Driven by a reliable, high-performance Briggs & Stratton engine the Al-Ko 520BR 'Classic' Petrol Rotary Lawnmower is a self-propelled machine, ideal for lawns up to around 1500m2. Its three-in-one capability allows you to work in either collection, side-discharge or mulching modes. When working in mulching mode, grass clippings are held under the deck where they are repeatedly shredded, before being forced in to the lawn, where they decompose, replenishing vital nutrients & micro-organisms. The 520BR incorporates Al-Ko's 'Ultimow' technology, which presents a number of advantages. Firstly, rather than being welded, the deck is instead cast in 1 piece, maximising strength, durability & rust-resistance, while also improving airflow, which optimises both collection & mulching performance. Secondly, the deck is offset (to the left), allowing you to cut right to the edge of your lawn, radically reducing the amount of time-consuming grass clipping needed.
